Planned experience, not live
The following sections describe the intended Petbnb concept and planned workflows. They do not describe functionality currently available through Pawgloo.
Petbnb is intended to be Pawgloo’s home-boarding feature. It would connect pet parents who need care for their pets while travelling with verified local hosts who would open their homes to pets.
Instead of a kennel, where pets are housed in cages in a commercial facility, the intended Petbnb experience would allow a host to look after your pet in their own home, giving your dog or cat a real home environment with personal attention.
How Petbnb works
Planned flow for pet parents:
- Browse verified host profiles in the planned Pawgloo app experience
- Check reviews, photos, and host experience with your pet type
- Chat with the host before booking
- Confirm dates and payment in-app
- Have your pet’s vaccination records and health notes shared with the host automatically
Planned flow for hosts:
- Register through a planned Petbnb flow in the Pawgloo Partners app
- Complete Pawgloo’s intended verification process (identity check + home review)
- List your availability and accepted pet types
- Receive booking requests from pet parents
Who are Petbnb hosts?
Under the intended design, Petbnb hosts would be pet lovers, often pet owners themselves, who would have space, time, and the desire to care for other people’s pets while they travel. Every prospective host would be required to pass Pawgloo’s intended identity and home verification process before their listing could go live.
What Petbnb is not
The intended Petbnb concept would not be a kennel, a pet hotel, or a day care facility. It would be a home-boarding arrangement between verified individuals. Pawgloo would provide the platform, verification, profiles, reviews, chat, availability, payments, and health-record sharing, but the care itself would happen in a private home.
