The main Pawgloo dashboard currently exposes only Track Walks for walking-related activity. Tapping it opens a coming-soon modal for activity tracking, not a walker marketplace. There is no walker booking, search, or payment route in the main app.
The current partner app is vet-only in its screens and master feature specification. Some generic partner-profile and
account-deletion maps in the partner backend include a walker type, but those entries do not provide an end-to-end
walker service.
Planned experience, not live
The workflow, filters, profile fields, safeguards, payment flow, GPS capabilities, and recurring schedules below describe an intended experience that is not currently available.
How it will work
Step 1: Open dog walkers
The intended navigation would let you tap Walkers in Pawgloo to browse available walkers near your location.
Step 2: Filter by your needs
The planned experience would let you filter walkers by:
- Distance: walkers within your preferred travel range
- Availability: your preferred schedule (morning, afternoon, evening)
- Walk type: solo walk (your dog only) or group walk
- Experience with your breed
Step 3: Review walker profiles
Each planned walker profile would show:
- Identity verification status
- Previous walking experience and pet handling background
- Verified reviews from other Pawgloo users
- Photos and a bio
- GPS tracking availability
Step 4: Book and pay
The intended flow would allow you to confirm a one-time or recurring booking. Payment is intended to be processed in-app after each walk, but no walker booking or payment route is currently live.
Step 5: Track your walk in real-time
The planned GPS capability would let you see the walker’s route live in the app once the walk starts. The intended experience would also provide a summary with the route, duration, and a photo when the walk is done. These GPS tracking and summary capabilities are not currently available as part of a walker service.
What to expect from a Pawgloo walker
Under the planned safeguards, walkers would undergo platform review before their first listing or booking. The intended verification process includes an identity check and background review. These are planned safeguards, not checks currently performed for a live Pawgloo walker marketplace.
Can I set a regular walking schedule?
The planned experience would allow recurring daily or weekly walks with the same walker, with schedule management in the app. This capability is not currently available, and there is no announced launch date.
